I have heard great things about this combo, but I have no personal experience with same. Check around the web, I think I may have read the good things, but it has been a while.

Out of all the Revolvers I own, not a one of them is a .22
Don't know why? except I guess I just never got around to getting one! :D

We sell 40-50 per year with little or no problems . On the rare occasion that factory service was required , they always were prompt and complete .
I would recommend them .

They also have one out in the new .17 HMR caliber .

I would spend the extra money on the adjustable sight version myself .

The one's I've seen have not been finely finished. If they're laying in the counter next to an older Smith or Colt or current Ruger, then one tends to say "Ewehe!"

On the other hand - as guy sajer says - they seem to work. I'm acquainted with a half dozen folks who've gotten one and no one has complained. As these folks weren't bullseye shooters, nor using the guns for serious squirrel hunting - I can't speak for their perception of accuracy.

Based on my limited experience - I'd say they were a good deal for the price. If I came across one in .17 HRF I'd probably swoop it up - just to see.

Be prepared for it to be mighty rough early. Mine was real rough, had multiple failed to fires, however it smoothed out ver well, havn't had any problems after a couple of hundred rounds.
For the money I think it is a great Gun.

Hi, Im the other Heritage Rough Rider poster.=-) I bought my 1st Heritage revolver this past Thursday. IMHO, Gun Test Mag. hit the nail on the head saying this handgun is a "Must Buy" No problems what so ever with mine. I bought the steel frame 6in barrel model. The 22lr is the most accurate with mine while the 22 mag. hits a little high. I guess the extra bang for your buck is the reason. But anyway I took two nice cottontails this morning with the 22lr. Have Fun! I sure am.=-)

I bought one several years ago as a plinker. It is very consistent. Mine has the fixes sights and I wish I had gotten the adjustable ones but other than that it has performed very well. For $135 it was a good buy. It's a neat revolver if you are looking for some cheap practice or are planning to hold off an invasion of alien soda cans. :cowshoot:
I have fired .22 CB, short, and long rifle from the LR cylinder and never had any particular problems. I just bought a box of magnums the other day and plan on switching cylinders and trying them out sometime soon.

Apple a Day,
Try the CCI Maxi Mags 22mag. they are the most accurate in my Rough Rider. my revolver likes the high vel. ammo the best.
