Based on the answer of 3 of 4 replies--the republican party can expect to loose the election and Obama will win.
The question was republican or democrat.

Your absolutely right!
I forgot people don't associate conservatives with republicans anymore.
Republicans are now liberal voter who want Socialism at a slower pace then the Democrats.
Please forgive me.

During the General election I will vote for the Republican candidate, no matter who it is. Any of the current runners would be better than the current administration. I have gotten several headaches researching who the one I'm going to vote for in the Primary will be. It seems everytime I pick someone they fall out of the race (I.E. Michelle Bachman and Herman Cain).

I think the question should be is anyone going to admit on this website that they would vote for the Obutt? Seriously isn't it like preaching to the choir?

It is simple math--if you vote for a third party candidate you are voteing for Obama.
Now, your consciouse may be clear but you should accept responsibility for electing him.

In Washington state,If you don't vote for Obama your vote is wasted.
Obama will win this state,So in this state you can vote for anyone you want to and you will still lose.Period.
I think when it comes to the general election which ever candidate we vote for we lose.

Unfortunately Illinois is much the same. Of the 102 counties 2 will go for Obama. Cook (chicago)County has far more population than any other and will carry the sate for him, in spite of what the state as a whole wants.

I've lived in liberal areas for a year or two - thanks to the Army. No way I'd buy a place and settle down in such a state. I know sometimes we have to do things we don't like. I enjoyed living in Iraq more than I liked Massachusetts or Minnesota.

My feelings exactly. The quandary I'm in, however, is that there's not a Republican running that I want to see in office, and, although some core Republican organization wants another candidate in the race, I fear that's not gonna happen. Could, if this thing goes to the convention without a known winner, but I doubt it. And, if it did go that far, and was not a 'bartered' convention, and if another candidate were named out of the convention, that person would be far, far behind the campaigning curve.
However, I'm fully aware that voting for a third party candidate is a vote wasted so, having said all that, I'll vote for whoever the Republicans put up.
I'm not optimistic, however. :(
Oh, and by the way, in case nobody's noticed, Obama and his wife have been making all the right moves, and saying all the right things lately, to appeal to the lower middle class.

I know some people think voting third party is a throw away. As long as that mentality prevails, we will be stuck with an essentially two party system. Two parties is too few if we want any real change. The time is getting riper every year for a viable third party. A tomato can only sit so long before it's time to take down the whole plant.
I don't look at elections like horse races. I'm not voting for who I think will win. I'm voting for who I want to win.
Vote Gary Johnson.

Obama & His Mook Administration are the problem & enemy. I vote against these people.
To bad there is not a spot on the ballet marked none of the above. If enough voters would check it we could get rid of everyone and start over.
