Perhaps it is time to remember

a time, not so long ago (only 2 years, actually), when the Quisling in the White House abandoned our allies in eastern Europe by dropping our missile defense plans for that region while gaining absolutely zero concessions from Russia, Iran, or anyone else. As a brief reminder, here's an article from that time, a blast from the past, if you'll pardon the usage:

You may recall that, several months following this story, Iran in fact took delivery of anti-aircraft batteries from Russia. By the way, that was when the (relatively) wimpy Medvedev was in charge. One shudders to think what concessions the Quisling will offer to a stronger figure in Moscow such as Putin.

This week, we heard rumblings of yet another possible capitulation by our Quisling-in-Chief--a unilateral elimination of "some" (perhaps as much as two-thirds) of our already dwindling nuclear arsenal. Why would we even consider doing this? Why, to save money, of course... money that could be better spent on teaching and hospitalizing wet backs. But, we shouldn't worry about these possible reductions, because the Pentagon is engaged in a "very comprehensive [review] process." Right.

A couple of days ago, the Quisling's Chairman of the Joint Cheifs also went on record (via an interview with the Communist News Network, CNN), stating his (and the Quisling's administration's) belief that it is "premature" for Israel to consider military action against Iran, a position echoed by the latest generation of Chamberlains in Britain. Presumably, it will ALWAYS be premature to attack Iran--after all, they're "rational actors," to quote the Chamberlainesque Brits and our own so-called leaders. Rational? Yeah.

And, all the while, patriotic Americans (in other words, those US citizens who dare to question the Quisling's policies on ANY issue, foreign or domestic) are called everything from Nazis to Terrorists in seeming preparation for declaring them (us) "enemies of the state."

So, how much more evidence of the Quisling's true intentions do we need? How many more of our liberties--and how much more of our military readiness--are we willing to sacrifice simply to satisfy the Quisling's obvious desire to destroy our country?"

Just my $.02, and worth all you paid.

Quisling defined:
"In contemporary usage, Quisling is synonymous with traitor, and particularly applied to politicians who appear to favour the interests of other nations or cultures over their own."

"latest generation of Chamberlains in Britain."

Throughout history we have had Quislings. Right now it is an epidemic here in the USA and the World for that matter.

What scares me and tickes me off is the ammount of "americans" that support this scumbag while being fully aware of the facts.

Scary, indeed. In my experience, those are the ones who have (or think they have) something to gain if the fascist agenda is achieved--mainly those who crave power or, ironically, those who seek even more money. Have you noticed how many of the Quisling's patrons are wealthy business types? Most business people just want to be left alone to build their own enterprises--but there are many (those who seek lucrative government contracts, for instance) who gather round "the cause" like moths to a flame. This, of course, is also true when folks on the other side of the political divide happen to be in charge--ultimately, greed knows no politics.

And then there are the huge numbers of "useful idiots"--those well-meaning, but painfully naive legions of the Quisling's supporters whose heartfelt ideology stems from generations of indoctrination in our schools and--even more--our universities. The cultural institutions were co-opted many, many years ago, and these poor souls are merely the fruits of the seeds planted by our grandparents' enemies. Given enough time and experience, some of the "useful idiots" will mature out of their current misguided beliefs; sadly, however, many will carry the "disease" for life.

Even scarier to me is the level of hatred many of the blind followers (on both sides) harbor for anyone who does not share their world view. The hateful, hurtful rhetoric one sees just reading the Comments associated with virtually any published story is genuinely stunning. The "divide and conquer" tactic employed by those in charge (again, on both sides) has succeeded beyond anyone's expectations, much to the detriment of the country.

Israel has a long history of making decisions for itsownself without consulting anyone.
I do suspect they will do it again.
Blessings
