The Miami Marlins hired manager Ozzie Guillen (of Venezuela) to help bring in the Latin community to support the Marlins MLB baseball team. So last week Guillen talks with the press and mentions how much he loves Fidel Castro. Of course the Latin community in Miami is 90% Cuban - many with family members murdered or tortured and imprisoned by the Castro regime. His comments weren't taken lightly by the Cuban-Americans who are now boycotting the team, demanding Guillen's ouster. Guillen proved himself to be an idiot in Chicago; one week into the new season he's doing even worse in Miami.

Guillen is a moron! I'd spent time in the Cuban communities in both Miami and Tampa (Ybor City) and know the story. When I was in the valley at spring break I spoke with a fellow that spent time in one of Castro's death camps. They have reason to be POed.

Seems like Ozzie Guillen has a terminal case of Foot in Mouth diease. I've personaly met refugees from cuba and there is no love lost on Castro. I think Mr. Guillen needs to go into hidding or imigrate to cuba. Good riddence to bad rubbish.

As if the baseball community doesn't have adequate representation amongst the players of being "culturally and nationally diverse" (I vehemently hate the word "diverse"), the sub 40 IQ management felt a sub 30 IQ Latino manager would do the trick in improving game attendance?
