Another Senior Moment

There was a bit of confusion at the store this morning. When I was
ready to pay for my groceries, the cashier said, "Strip down facing me."

Just as I was making a mental note to complain to my congressman about
Homeland Security running amok and ready to argue, I noticed how pretty she
was and thought maybe there was hope for me yet so I did just as she had
instructed.

When the hysterical shrieking and alarms finally subsided, I found out
that she was referring to my credit card.

I have been asked to shop elsewhere in the future.
They need to make their instructions to us seniors a little clearer!

Last time somebody said that to me, it was a couple of police officers, just before I spent a night in jail.

I think it is hillarious! Funny - I keep a 'chemise' (think long "peasant" dress) hanging over the post at the top of the stairs just in case someone comes unexpectedly to the door (I'm a "clothing optional" person). I no longer have the kind of figure to thrill the UPS man should I answer the door au naturel! In fact, once he quit gagging, he'd be hi-tailing back to his truck on the double!! Either that, or he'd point and laugh!
