How long do you think it will be before we seen one?

And is anyone else waiting as impatiently as me?

As a woman I can say I don't like the pink guns. So blue is not on my want list.

With todays powder coating technolgy I see a rainbow of colors for firearms coming. Call me old fashioned but I'll stick with wood and blued steel and the occasional nickled plated job for now. :D

I think as soon as Ruger catches up on current demand, they'll get around to a blued 1911.

Have to agree with budroe and think it's going to be a long wait. All the reviews
that I've read say it's great ! I'd sure like to get on the waiting list for the SS but
the lady of the house has different ideas.
Oh well now that the Sig is home I can be satisfied with that for awhile.

i really never have been that thrilled about ruger blueing.......especially them plum colored parts and lack of polish.

now if they want to market a dark finish.....call it parkerizing, bead blast blue, or something similar and sells for less......then sure i'll take a look.

Something more tactical and easily cared for than blued for me, Black PVD coating over stainless or parkerized would do the trick. Moot point unless I escape from California as Ruger hasn't tried to get it approved here:mad:
