Carston- Thanks. Unfortunately Im looking for a forward mount. Something along the lines of a scout scope mount. Like the one in the picture below. I found the picture on mini14.com, but they only have a picture of it, and no info as to where to get one. :(

I would have answered this earlier but I couldn't remember who still sold the scout-type AR handle mount. I've got an older Knight mount, don't think those are still made though. DSA has a mount listed in their print ads in Shotgun News. Don't know if it's on their website www.dsarms.com (http://www.dsarms.com)

Fal- Thanks for the link. Unfortunately they don't carry mini14 parts. :( Although a forward optic mount be just what I need for my SP1. :)

I will tell ya Stu, I am at a lost. I checked Brownells where someone was sure they saw it.
As for Brownells, does anyone have a dealer account with them?
I want to order a stock but gezz, $70.00 is $70.00.....That is almost 360 rounds for my new Savage 10FP.
