I typed in the URL for the site while on my main account. The disclaimer window appears, but there is no link by which one can continue on into the site.

I had to go to my other account in which I've bookmarded a direct forum.

Just pointing it out as this wouls be a bummer for newbies who'd just found the site!:OMG:

That was added for legal reasons.

I hope to make a few more changes (some of which, I trust members will like) to the entry page.

Alan, everyone has to agree to that when they register, why have everyone do it every time they enter? It also takes the page a long time to load as opposed to just the banner. :dunno: Many people come in directly through the board, I know I do so they won't even see that. Add in the part about bookmarking to the registration form, this should cover any legal reason. :dunno:

Non-members can read most of our site WITHOUT registering and/or agreeing to anything -- it's to cover ourselves with them. I've been putting together a list of gun boards and I've been visiting them as I put together the list and a number of them use this approach to cover themselves for legal reasons ... they don't get in unless they agree (as you correctly pointed out, members agree to this stuff upon registration).

on a real CONFUSER, the 'I agree' or 'enter' button is visible at the bottom of the screen. On WebTV, you don't see that at all, nor does your cursor ever settle on the big, blue Triple-F box as a link as it used to.
