Mauser-M1 Garand?

I came across this (http://www.auctionarms.com/search/displayitem.cfm?ItemNum=1529204) atauction arms (http://www.auctionarms.com). Did Mauser ever make M1 Garands, and if so wouldn't they be worth more than about $300?

Mauser did not ever make M1 Garands. :) :)

On the other hand, M-1 Garands did kill a lot of guy's holding Mauser's!! ;)

Someone must have figured it out. They modified the description to omit all references to Mauser.
