Carston- Looks like you found some great deals on mini14 mags. You aren't by chance finally thinking about getting one are you? This could be a great day at FFF. Hell Ill even mark it on the calendar as the day that Carston finally saw the light. :D

No Stu, you missed the whole point. I was thinking about those poor souls who need expensive .22 cal mags that no one has.
Hell, I have my .223 and .308 covered. After the bolt gun gets here on Tuesday I may be looking into FAL's :p And selling the SKS's
off.

Stu you need to get a grip and soon, By the way....I have the phone number to a realtor in your area

Carston- I know a place that has much better deals on 10/22 hi cap mags, and there not the crappie Ram-Line mags. They're the Butler Creek 25 round mags for $35 each.

Stu, that is all foreign to me....Remember, I buy LEGAL TO OWN USGI mags at great surplus prices.
Wasn't there some Gizmo that bought a bunch of LEO only mags just lately  Like ya no POST BAN stuff that was marked. Geez, what 10 years per mag in one's posession.....
Well, I just thought I would let others..less fortunite know someone had high cap mags for those wanta bee's.
I am still confused about what they wantabe though. Sorta a migdet M14 look a like spitting a .223 bullet with shiny wood and louder than all get out.
Maybe is is a bird control rifle....for the noise :p

Give it up Stu, you can't win. Right the ways of you wrongs. Flood the FOR SALE forum here and take charge. Take your life back, hell even ruger themselves helped ban the High Cap mags.
Come to terms with your inner self. Breathe and think M14, M1 Garand, M1A, AR15 and maybe even a FAL....Stu, get a grip.

Carston- You poor misguided soul. There you are spending so much hard earned money on fake flash hiders, and fake collapsible stocks that you cant afford real beer. Step into the light my friend, and realize that the mini14 is the best kept secret in the ultimate 223 combat rifle. If nothing else, send me an address and Ill send you some real beer. :D

"and realize that the mini14 is the best kept secret"

My question would be......Is there a reason, that Ruger's answer to the "Assault Buggywhip", is being kept secret!!! :D :D

Frenchy- The only reason that there are people like Carston, who believe the AR15 is the better of the two, is because its the civilian version of what the military uses. If Bill Ruger had had the mini14 out 10 years earlier, then you all would be singing its praises. The worst part is the people like Carston, who not only don't own a mini14, but bad mouth them without ever having shot one. While I do pick on AR15s and there owners, i do have two of them in the safe. But Ill be grabbing a mini14 first if TSHTF.

Your point is well-taken Stu, and of course, I was kidding!! ;) Actually I've never shot a Mini, but would like to. The only negative comments I've ever heard of them, is that accuracy goes away when the barrel heats up from rapid fire. Other than that, they strike me as being a nice compact carbine.

Carston- Ohh man, it looks like my months of work have finally paid off. You've seen the light, and are coming over to the mini14 side. :D Congratulations, you'll be a happier and more stable person as soon as you get your first mini14 and start tricking it out. :) Heck you'll probably even start drinking real beer. :D Let me know if I can be any help in your new found sanity. http://www.familyfriendsfirearms.com/forums/icons/icon25.gif

Bubba- I believe that this should qualify as a "real" battle rifle. Granted the mags are more then $5 a piece, but I already have 8 of them, and can get more if I need them.
