Okay no Mini Slams or anything....
I go looking for a way to get the darn scope ring Allen Head screws out some one fixed. Damn must be 5 layers of Loctite, nimrod who ever did it
So any way, talking to the guy at Home Depot and I mention I have a few SKS's to sale. He makes me a offer on the Scope (some 44 mag Simmons 3x9x44 or something) and calls his buddy that knows every thing.
What happened next you will not believe...buddy comes over and after telling me how much they both like SKS's and is excited. I state one has a Laser mounted and he walks off calling ME a rooky and a novious.
Hell did he have a clue I was selling to purchase a $1300 carbine
Just imagine a guy buying a $200 SKS telling someone that owns 4 AR's, an M1A and all the rest that I am an a rookie and haven't a clue.
Man ya gotta love the know it all, wantabee's out there.
I bet this guy have booquoo bucks invested in firearms....I dare say a few I have make up a dozen SKS's.......
Oh heck, delete this.

Carston- Don't sweat it buddy. There are a lot of idiots out there. Hell I've been to AR15.com. :D There are those that believe that a rifle has to be a certain way or it just aint right. I've seen this time and time again at the range when I start playing with a tricked out 10/22. You would think I shot the pope or something the way some of the old timers look at me. :(
But just because I know it will make you happy. Im selling a mini14. :)
makes you wonder about setting an age limit on commenting, either on a board or in public.
Over on HS2Ktalk we just had a first post. Poster wanted to know how to disable the grip safety, would piano wire or duct tape be best.
Where's Darwin when you need him ;)

If it wasn't for idiots like that, there would be no favoritism in the world.

 Carston, I can relate. There seems to more of them on the Internet than in real life. I think this is because they know on the 'net you can't reach out and choke the living crap out of them.
You should take some pics of some of your collection into the store and ask the idiot to look at them. While you're there ask him if he is a registered voter, when was the last time he wrote a congress critter, does he belong to any pro gun groups, what is he doing to protect our rights other than setting newbies like you straight in Home Depot. Hell, just invite him to Triple F and we will all cyber slap the crap out of him. :D
Locktite on scope screws?!? Now that was a novice!

Ya I know about jerks and know it alls...deal with them everyday selling homes. I had a guy last week tell me I couldn't make the commission I was going to because it was against the law....Go figure that one out.
The thing that got me miffed with this guy was he was 45 to 50 and this buddy was in his 30's and told me they shoot the heck out of these SKS's.
This guy calls me a rookie and and amature for the fact I mounted a Laser. Well, they ought to have about 30 SKS's between the two of them to equal what I have in 6 rifles.
I wonder what he would have said about that cute 10/22 Stu has with the fancy Laminated stock....them would have been fightin words
Thanks for the idea JT about the screws but just how hot do i have to get them. These things just don't want to let go
Any one need a 3-10x44 wide angle Simmons 44 Mag..make me an offer and contribute to my Pre Ban AR
Oh and Stu, I feel so bad that you are giving up one of your beloved family.....Making room for another AR :p
Okay, well I gotta get to work....6000 squ feet of new sod is coming tomorrow morning. Update the auto sprinkler system today and now I need a beer or two or more and a hot shower.

Oh Stu.....Troll Patroll is on alert :D

Carston - Unfortunately, no tax is levied upon, or permit required, for inDUHviduals wishing to engage in moronic behavior.
If idiotic behavior were to be taxed on a per case basis, I dare say the Federal Income Tax could be abolished.
If you think you have it bad in UT, you ought to see what *I'm* faced with everyday in CA!
Have fun with your sod. Oh! Are you going to have a REAL beer (or two), or some of that watered down camel piss known as Coors Lite. :)

Why do you insist on insulting Camels ;)
Carston- I have a buddy that takes crap at the range from old farts when he shoots his M1A match. The crap usually goes along the lines of "That assault rifle doesn't belong here on the rifle range. If all your going to do is spray bullets, why don't you go over to the pistol side." Even after he out shoots them with that "assault rifle" they still don't let up.
BTW your not the only one I know that's put a laser on a SKS. There were several people pre y2k that did it to turn there SKS into a CQB weapon. Hell there are a lot of SWAT teams that have lasers on there MP5s, and M4s.
Don't need another scope at the moment. But if you decide to sell that red dot, let ne know. :)
