I was just surfing the web and drooling after this here Winchester Trapper (http://www.winchester-guns.com/prodinfo/catalog/md94/m94_trapper.htm). :) I want one in .357Magnum some day... Anyways, I was just wondering, what's the real accuracy of that rifle with factory ammo (at 100 meters)?

I own two of the darned things. One in 30-30 (with the real live Lucas McCain/John Wayne big loop lever) and a 94-Commerative in .45 Colt.
To say that the 30-30 kicks a might is ... an accurate statement.
The .45 Colt is a joy. I've never had feed problems with the shorter pistol cartridge but I've only put about 1200 rounds thru it. YMMV.
I don't shoot the 30-30 as much as I could/should as I've got my 94AE (20" bbl.) as one of my deer guns and it usually gets the call.
My Dad has a Trapper in .357 and he uses mostly reload .38 Specials. Feeding is usually OK. Never 100% and thats a drag. No noticeable recoil (when compared to my 30-30 trapper) so thats a plus. But not a firearm I'd be willing to stake my life on (if you know what I mean; there are other things for that).
Still a fun one to help round out the collection. (Will I ever round it out enough?)(Maybe when I get a round tu-it)

I just noticed I never answered your question about accuracy Tony. A 50 yard (pace) gun in the handgun caliber (for Minute of Deer -or- keeping it on a paper plate). At 100 yard/paces the groups open up quite a bit, but that could be because my 46 year old eyes and open sights don't mix too well and/or because we always shoot at the shorter ranges first and maybe the barrel is a lot hotter when we go to the longer range.
I would recommend buying one and trying it out for size.
Now I'll say...

My Trapper is in .45 Colt and I use handloads. Mine will shoot 1 1/2" at 50 yards and about 3 to 4" at 100 yards. Plenty accurate enough for general use.

Hmm... Yeah, sure, I'd love to just go to the store and pick one up. But with the way things are going (wouldn't like to bore you with unnecessary details, let's just say that at least for now my economic situation and my extravaganzant lifestyle do not see eye-to-eye... ;) ) I don't hardly think so. But some day I'll get one. And then I'll have the problem of where to shoot with it. At the range I currently go to there really aren't much choices, it's the 100 meter (or longer) rifle range. Won't be much fun if the damn thing can't keep on the target at that range.
And what causes the feeding problems, if I may ask?

I have a rossi 92src (saddle ring carbine) in .357. As to accuracy, the Rossi is as accurate as my eyes with the iron sites. You shouldn't have any problem keeping it on paper at 100 yds.
Fun and cheap to shoot. I mostly handload and use AA1680 or 2400 and 180 cast sil. bullet. 1680 or 2400 seem to work better in the longer barrel than some of the real fast burners. 38 spcl lead round nose bullets also feed and shoot very well in the 92. I really like grabbing a few hundred rounds of light 38's and blasting cans with it.
It is accurate enough to blast a coke can at 50 yds with almost boring regularity. I would like to add a tang mounted peep site to the Rossi, maybe someday...
Lever .357's may be one of the best bang for buck centerfire plinkers
ever made.... No recoil, cheap ammo, low or high power, light to carry, fun, minute of coke can accuracy, ...

Had two of them over the years, one in 30/30 and the other in 32 Win. Special. (Comparable to the 30/30.) Both were fine little rifles. I sold the 32 Win Special during a period of hard times and the 30/30 is on pretty much permanent loan to my sister. Miss them.
Both, with iron sights, my old eyes and off a bench would hold roughly 2.0 - 2.5 inches at 100 yards.
Would love to have one of the originals in 30/30 with the 13 inch barrel.
I don't think either of the chamberings I had are in current production, but I'd surely love to have one of the newer ones in .45 Colt. Ought to be a fun little deer gun (with proper handloads).
