I'm just relating what I did ... I'm not recommending it, unless you have spare parts and dont mind playing around.
On my 597 I cut 1/8" off the bolt buffer ... the bolt now traveles farther giving the spent casing more time and room to eject properly. I also cut 1/4" off both guide rail springs so the bolt moves with less strain but still has the force to load the next round.
Went through about 250 rounds with no ejection problems at all.
Tried some Golden Eagle and because of the wax coating, a full mag would not feed right (you can tell something is wrong when loading rounds 8, 9, and 10). Tomorrow I'll pick up some acetone to clean off the wax. If all works well then I should be able to increase my choice of ammo.
