New toy arrived today, Savage 10FP LE .308
It's a Father / Son deal; his idea we split the cost.
Gave it a bath it Hoppes, lubed it up with some Militec-1. Mounted the scope and bipod. Now if the weather will cooperate we'll get to the range and sight it in.

For now it's wearing a Tasco 6-18x40 I borrowed off my 10/22. Jury's still out on what will go on it permanetly. Gun show coming up next month, I'll wait and see what I can find there before ordering.

That is a good and inherently accurate rifle. Spend at least as much on the scope as you did on the rifle.
