Took possession of a NEW, unfired .270 NEF barrel today from the man in the brown truck.

I purchased it froma very generous gentleman over at graybeards by the name of "Mamba Driver." I highly recommend doing business with him if ever you cross paths with him.

He contacted me knowing that I was looking for a barrel. I made an offer which he accepted and then he offered to pay 1/2 the shipping costs :OMG:

When I contacted him to let him know the check was in the mail, he shipped the barrel the same day!!!!

A great person indeed. :up:

This afternoon, I shipped off the receiver for my NEF 45-70 to be fitted with a .44mag barrel since I can't seem to find one thru other means. In the same box was my son's 17hmr that was keyholing ... hope they come back soon ... got a BIG hole in my gun safe ....

I hate to admit it, but "momma" has cut off my gun-purchasing privileges for a while :( :(

In the last year, I have bought 5 new guns :D

You got to talk to Momma. 5 in a month and I could understand her tightening the purse strings - but these are "guns" and 5 in a year only helps stablize the economy. Explain to her that we need to encourage an expansionist economy. :)
