Who makes reliable hi-cap carbines in .45ACP? 10mm? .40S&W? 9mm? that come with factory hi-cap magazines?

I sort of like the Ruger PC4GR carbine (http://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firearms/FAProdView?model=4851&return=Y) but with the ban over, I would prefer more rounds on tap than just ten and my first choices would be (1) .45ACP; (2) 10mm; (3) .40S&W; (4) 9mm.

first thought would be the Beretta CX4 Storm. Bullpup-type design. takes standard Beretta pistol mags. the 9mm version used 92-series mags and the .40 uses 96-series mags. Hi-caps are available, and if you opt for non-factory mags, you can get even 30+ rounders.

I think Olympic Arms chambers ARs for all the calibers you listed. I could be wrong.

I do not like pistol-caliber carbines. For a negligible increase in velcoity you have much more hardware to carry. They are made in pistol cartridges because they are controllable under burst or full-auto (i.e. Thompson, MP5, MP10, Uzi). I see no point to having a semi-auto version.

For the same weight and bulk you can have a rifle with the attendant superior ballistics or a shotgun which is far more devastating.

Some old guy taught me to fire a pistol ad extreme ranges - 200 yards and beyond because he said "you just never know" I would prefer the smaller package and practice at distance - or better, have a rifle.
