I was playing with my taxes today, & it looks like Im gonna get a nice little chuck of change back from Uncle Sam (that education credit helps ALOT).
I want an AR bad. But I want something INEXPENSIVE not Cheap. Ive heard that RRA makes really decent rifles.
Any experiences???
Thanks
Dave

Yes. Direct experience with two RRA builds. I bought a .223 upper (completed) and assembled the lower from all-RRA parts. It's a carbine with varmint (bull) barrel. Will shoot down around 1/2" if I do my thing.
I bought upper receiver and mated a PacNor .20 caliber barrel (22") to it in Tactical 20. Again, built the lower, but instead of RRA trigger, used a Jewel. Also used a Les Baer bolt, bolt carrier, and barrel extension. This one will shoot in the 1/4" range (5 shot groups at 100 yds.) again, if I do my part.
Both rifles very reliable. Have not had a single failure to feed, extract or fire in several hundred rounds from each one.
Without a single doubt, the best AR value for the money that is out there. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive, just the best overall value.
Here is a link to the pictures of the .223.
