60 MINUTES AT IT AGAIN . . . The CBS "news magazine" is doing the work of gun prohibitionists again, promoting the notion that guns should be banned because foreigners are circulating among us. The story aired just as a new report counts 11 million illegal aliens in the U.S. in an undocumented population, almost half a million crossing America's borders per year. The 60 Minutes reporter glosses over preventable, already-illegal activities that preceded the purchase of a .50 caliber rifle in the story. An Albanian man who claims to have illegally entered the United States through Mexico, illegally trafficked in and exported firearms in violation of the law -- who now has become a U.S. citizen -- is at the focus of the report, a transcript of which you can read at a Colorado TV station's Web site. Don't expect CBS to change just because Dan Blather no longer anchors the evening news. His bosses still run CBS. He is still at CBS. Nothing has changed but the public face.

I saw that...made me sick....Why that SOB was allowed to remain here I don't know...They should have revoked his citizenship and sent him back...in a connex box...like the rifles that he smuggled out....
Another wuestion...Why do gunshop owners allow ANYONE into their property with a camera??? Kick them the hell out!!! Jeezze.....

Another question...Why do gunshop owners allow ANYONE into their property with a camera??? Kick them the hell out!!! Jeezze.....One of those signs it's gonna be a ba-a-ad day: Mike Wallace is out front with a 60 Minutes crew. And ya' can't win. Ya' talk to 'em, and everything you say that makes common sense ends up on the cutting room floor; or, "Mr. Schmucketelly declined to talk to us on camera..."

Gun owners are invariably represented by "Bubba" in these "news" pieces. They call VPC and Brady Bunch in advance and get the Silver-Tongued Devil in there. Then they go down to the local gunstores, preferably far from any urban center, and find Bubba - and then shove a camera in his face as an "expert"
