CALIFORNIA FLIP-FLOP . . . Los Angeles was one of the cities that sued the firearms industry, attempting to blame law-abiding companies for the actions of criminals. Ironically, Douglas Knoll, a city attorney, now says "This was a tragic event, but the only person responsible is the one who pulled the trigger," (http://news.corporate.findlaw.com/ap/o/51/03-31-2005/5c020006a5156217.html) in explaining why the city can't be held responsible for the terrorist shooting that left two people dead at Los Angeles International airport three years ago.

"....Los Angeles, San Francisco and 12 other California cities claimed that members of the firearms industry, through "unfair, deceptive and fraudulent" business practices, were causing criminal misuse of firearms in California...."

Not so much California as it is L.A., San Francisco and a few other left wing cities.

Yup. Unfortunately the big cities' population outnumbers the rest of the State.

"This was a tragic event, but the only person responsible is the one who pulled the trigger," said Douglas Knoll, an attorney for the city.Oh my. That is just too rich. Any manufacturer that finds themselves in court - especially v. City of LA, needs to enter that in as "Defense Exhibit 1."
