At least once a month, but there are matches within driving distance every weekend. The local club is the Last Chance Handgunners in Helena, Montana, and the range is at High Ore, near Boulder.

Montana History 101
In 1864, a group of miners, whom history came to call The Four Georgians, had gone bust everywhere they prospected and were headed back east when they stopped here and gave it one last chance along a creek in a gulch on the southwest end of a long wide valley where the present day city of Helena, Montana is located. They struck gold, a lot of gold. It became the site of one of the largest gold strikes in the west, and today Helena's main street is aptly named "Last Chance Gulch". We also have a "Four Georgians" elementary school.
Class dismissed.

Howdy JBar:
Do you ever get over to shoot at the Great Northern SASS in September? or any of the matches in Northern Idaho?

So far, I've only attended matches in Montana and North Dakota. I've got a friend in the Boise area that is getting into CAS, so I might be shooting some matches in Idaho soon too.

Well that Great Northern is a good un and its coming up in late september. Quite a bit closer than North Dakota, I can keep you posted if you're interested. I'm looking at getting out to more matches this year including some Oregon matches and more North Idaho matches.

I used to, down El Paso way (especially the fast draw stuff), but it's been years. I managed to let earning a living get in the way of IMPORTANT stuff. ;) Took a job where I hadda travel, never anytime to practice, much less conform to local and state laws regarding transporting guns.

Oh well, I'm still pretty smooth, but not a winner, from what I saw the other day when I was down there. Some oldies have risen to the occasion, and some of the newbies, well, sheesh!!!

Ah well,.......
