This is a pretty good read, seems a lot of folks who got out are ticked off people are taking their things. Several people even asked how to get a handgun and a permit because they are afraid of being car jacked.

This is good news. People actually thinking about their own security! I bet this tragedy opens alot of eyes and will probably give the old 2A a boost.
While I do not really have a problem with a "certificate of training", this type of situation is one reason I don't agree that citizens should HAVE to have government PERMISSION to exercise their RKBA. Lock and load, protect your own!

Fifty years ago, this **** wouldn't be happening. At least it would be on a scale of fifty times less. Just walk into a hardware store and buy anything you could afford.

There ain't enough tough love down there in New Orleans.
If they're grabbing food, water, pop, and enough clothing to wear, more power to them.
But they are walking off with plasma TV's, beer, liquor, anything they can get their hands on. If the cops shoot to kill about 20 or 30 of the lowdown SOB's on sight, no questions asked, when word got around (and it would get around quickly) it would stop this hor$esh!t right now.
I'm so damn angry about what I see, I'd be the first to volunteer to go down and pull the trigger.
