I recently got a Tanfoglio TZ 75 Series 88, I believe. It is two tone and has 9mm and .41AE interchangable barrels with it and it has 13 round clips for each of the two calibers. I couldn't find a whole lot of information on the net about this firearm. I am under the impression this is a government issued firearm and on the Tanfoglio site it didn't have anything that helped, Thank you.

It was never issued by the U.S. Gov't, or any gov't to my knowledge.

The TZ pistols are Italian made clones of the CZ-75. They are well made and reliable. They were manufactured by a firm called Tanfoglio (who are also responsible for the Springfield Armory P9, the Baby Eagles, and Witness line of pistols).

That 41AE top end can be fun if you reload and you can find the dies for it.

If you want a wealth of info on this particular pistol, I suggest that you post about at CZForum.com.

The .41 overall has a shotty feed reliability record when compared to other calibers. I thing the rebated case rim might be the reason. Your's may do well, finding brass or loaded ammo might be a chore, however. A Matthew stated, you have a fine pistol that will serve you well at least in its 9mm guise.
