When I saw the title of this thread, I thought I was gonna see a guy wearing a leather tutu.

Rammy you know this is a hopeless case, growing is already been done and no hope to change. :D :D

As far as the Tutu, haven't found one of those things yet not for sure if I have to keep looking for one.

Wanna borrow mine? It's not black or leather, it's pink taffeta (sp?), which, IMO, is even better. :D

Yes, Sandy, that's Ricky's new puppy, Catnip.
She and Gunslinger are best friends. :)

As for human Gunslinger...I don't know which I'd rather (not) see....
nekkid on the lawnmower or in a leather tutu!!!

Richard, thanks I think a leather tutu would look mighty cute on the Slinger guy.

Rammy, I'm sorry Slinger threatened you like that, I guess I will have to leave his handcuffs on longer next time, as you know at his age he doesn't have to keep his handcuffs on long. :D :D

Cindy please don't make me have to make a choice between nekkid or tuto, these both just scare me to death.

Now I can see Rescue Ranger asking what we use handcuffs for and what a tutu is? You gotta love him.

Hi Cindy!

Two "cuties" - wonder if your kitty is related to the following?

I'll take one of Wolvs cats :D

Cindy what kind of pup is it? It is ADORABLE! I want a pup so bad but am allergic. Someone said there is a type of dog that people aren't allergic to? I have no clue what kind it is but someone showed me this little mutt looking furball thing and said that was it. It looked like a big rat with tons of hair. I don't want something like that :D All I want is a friend :(

I bet Ricky is having a blast with catnip :D VERY cute!

Sandy, she is a rat terrier. She will only get to be about 15 pounds, lighter than kitty Gunslinger is already!

I have read that poodles and terriers shed less dander than a lot of other breeds. you might be able to handle this type of dog, since she is a terrier will stay small (less surface area, less dander).
Plus, I giver her a bath at least twice a week so she gets used to it, but that would be a good way to decrease dander, as well.

Here (http://www.dogbiz.com/faq-allergies.htm) is a link to one source of info, whether it's true or not, who knows!

That would be cool if you could get one, dogs do make good friends. I hope you find one that you can be around. :(
Maybe you and Sammi should come visit us and "test" Catnip! :)

Hi Sandy!

Poodles do NOT have fur (nor dander), they have HAIR; thus Poodles have to be GROOMED! Unless you are capable of learning how to clean anal glands, shave the pooch's face (close to the eyes) and the patience and tolerance for its bath...grooming is expensive! A Poodle WILL be a member of Your Family...so finding the perfect Groomer is difficult too! A pure-bred Poodle can be expensive, in itself (we paid $1,000 for ours)! Finding an ideal Vet, is another consideration - also expensive! Just last week, we spent $200+ (and it wasn't for an annual physical, nor annual shots); not taking into consideration of having its teeth cleaned every 12 to 18 months (a trip to a hospital)! Okay, annual licensing depends on how much your town charges. Then, some Poodles need a special diet...meaning Eukanuba, IAMs, Science Diet - which is much more expensive than major brands like Purina, Ken-L-Ration, etc.

Some Poodles have F.R.A.P. - Franetic Random Activity Periods - which takes, patience, love and understanding! Poodles are extremely smart and can (believe it or not) REASON!

All said above, you cannot find a better pet, nor a more loving friend and the BEST MEMBER OF YOUR FAMILY!

Should you go the Poodle "route", try and get a brown or black one - their eyes "tear" and this way you won't see the stains below the eyes!

Here's a Message Board for Poodles - you might want to visit?

Good Luck

Cindy, thanks for the link! However looking at the pics of them dogs I don't think I want one of those :D They are kinda 'creepy' looking LOL. I think it would be best if Sammi and I visit and test out the rat terrier :D

Foreverthere, thanks for the info! Nothing personal but I don't think I want a poodle. It also costs alot to take it in to get groomed and such. My uncle had one years ago and now that i think about it, I don't think I sneezed much while I was there. It was really cute but it barked too much :D Thanks for the information though I appreciate that :)

I don't have much of a choice of dogs do I? :(

Hi Sandy!

Wellllllll, wouldn't you want a barking dog, as a Watch Dog? Security, you know! Also, every Child should have a dog!

The next time you visit your Doctor...ask him/her for an "over the counter" medication for dog allergies (they should be less expensive than prescription drugs).

Then when you decide on the "breed" or the "dog" of your choice. Take the medication and ONLY visit that ONE dog for about 1/2 hour or so...then don't go around any dogs/pets for at least 24 hours. If you don't have a reaction, then you know the medication worked!

Good luck and much happiness
