Sandy, I saw a kids pool advertised in the K Mart paper for $129. I think. If that was the same pool you were looking at, It would seem to me you Could mount or stand the filter away from the pool and extend the hoses to it ;) That would work ;)

I feel as if I'm jumping in on the tale of of a conversation here ...
Sandy, not that this is going to help you any :( but going through my Mom's garage, I found a 15x48 pool that I'm going to have to get rid of. If only we lived within driving distance of each other, I would let you have it for free.

I think I am not getting the whole story either. I could be mistaken, but I get the impression that you are concerned with having the electric filter pump too close to the children in the pool. If that's the case, keep in mind that the "budget priced" pool we bought recommends unplugging it while people are swimming.

Duhhh, You know PF that is the most logical answer to the whole situation and I never gave it a thought, because whenever I'm in my pool the filter is always set to run,But then again I have a 12,000 gal. above ground to and since everything is hardwired and water proof it really don't matter
Look for the obvious solution :D

PF, GOOD IDEA!!!!! However, I am terrified to even buy one now with all these violations and housing inspectors and police coming to my house. I may be using the jail pool facilities soon ;)
