My husband jumped through all the hoops to get to this country, including a medical, shots, x-rays, scrutiny of finances, criminal record check by the police of the UK plus a check by the FBI. Not to mention the financial costs involved, not just the fees but also the time and money required to travel down for the medical, then again for the interview.
