My best friend and I went to see this last weekend and loved it! I know that it is not getting great reviews and that is really ticking me off! Even if you are not an Anne Rice fan, but just love a good blood-sucking vampire flick that isn't too gory, this is the film for you. And may I add that this actor who portrayed The Vampire Lestat could actually act unlike that pretty boy Tom Cruise (in Interview with a Vampire). I do not like Tom Cruise and kept waiting for him to slide across the floor in his tighty whities and bare his teeth. (Wendy shuttering)

For you metal/industrial heads, the soundtrack ROCKS! I highly suggest it. It was on sale at Best Buy for $13.99

I've gotta get to see this! I love vampire movies (and books.)

Hey, outta curiosity, who all is on the soundtrack?

In the movie a lot of the songs are sang by the lead singer of Korn, but his record company wouldn't let him be on the soundtrack, so some of the songs on the soundtrack are by other folks. The soundtrack includes: Static-X, Disturbed, Marilyn Manson, Deftones, Papa Roach, Earshot, Godhead, Kidneythieves, Tricky, Dry Cell, Jay Gordon of Orgy, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park and Wayne Static of Static-X and David Draiman of Disturbed doing solo songs (Chester, Wayne and David's songs are sang by Jonathan of Korn in the movie). There is only a song or two that I am kind of iffy on, the rest are excellent.

Also, Jonathan plays a ticket scalper in the movie and we thought we saw Marilyn in the same scene, but it was quick. (as in you blink, you miss)

ENJOY! :D :D
