Has anyone but me noticed that Putin has been appearing, lately, at a podium which does not display the national seal of the Russian Republic... but one with the gold double-headed eagle of the Romanovs?

Very interesting.

I suppose it's possible that he was speaking at a non official event, like when the President speaks from a podium at a college, etc. but nontheless, it makes one wonder.
