Golda Meir would have done what she always did. Make the decision and then make the generals believe it was theirs. Hezbollah and Hamas would have ceased to exist. Meir and Ben Gurion were old school. They saw the camps. They knew death. They both believed that if Jews needed to die to keep Israel free - so be it. She would cry for the Arab babies... and slaughter them, nonetheless.
