What amazes me is that a nearby school district that is very pro-church (theirs I guess) is banning and burning Narnia and Hobbits as anti-christian. Wonders never cease.

Narnia is one of the most pro christian fantasies ever written. For a church to burn that borders on lunacy. To paint J.R.R. Tolken with the anti Christian brush is also totaly undeserved.

Methinks that We have met evil and found ourselfs to be looking in the mirror.

Now you know why I don't go to church I keep gaging on the hypocracy.
They preach love and practice hate. Love thy neighbor, unless they are different.


Kind of makes me wonder if the survivlest types in a bunker in Montana know something we don't? Animal attacks are way up lately, could be creation has had its fill and is getting ready for a hostile take over? :p

Aslan rules! I bought the whole Narnia series for the grandkids and read them all through almost without stopping.
Any church that burn Narnia and Hobbits should be avoided at all costs!!

I find I really need to go back every five years or so and reread them myself. They came out about when I was in school and were required reading (along with just about everything CS ever wrote) but I enjoy them more now than I ever did, and they mean so much more now too.
