With the little guys camera angle does quite a bit. Once had them at the Armory after drill. Stayed and watched a little, before I left I went to the latrine and there was the guy in there changing, didn't think much about it but he was a little fellow. I was driving home when I realized that was the guy from the first match, Cowboy Bob something that won his match. I saw it on TV later and thought to myself darn he looks bigger on TV!
These guys are entertainers for sure, once had another guy that was one of Terry Hogan's buddies come by the shop to get his car worked on. A coworker comes over to me and says that's Brutus the Barber Beefcake. I looked at Victor (the co-worker) and said "who?" but of course I knew exactly who he was and it blew Victor away even worse when I walked past the guy and said "How the he!! are ya?" and I think Victor just about pooped himself.
Yup its entertainment, lots of folks go nuts over it. I just figure these are guys that don't have any other talent then to fake somebody into believing in the story. I don't think I've watched wrestling in decades, wasn't it in NJ where they had to admit to it being fake to avoid having to pay the Sports Francise taxes?
