Well, get ready folks, I think the cold, ice, snow and everything else will be coming soon.

Is your wood, windows, car, animals, and everything else ready for the
winter season?

Sears is coming today to winterize the tractor -- convert it from cutting grass to chopping snow.

My joints are better than the weatherman at knowing what is coming.

I'm probably one of the few people my age who have a somewhat reliable way of short term predicting weather.

Usually if we are due a bad storm, or anything along those lines, I will get a headache that just feels different from what I usually get. They typically start anywhere from 8-16 hours before the rough weather rolls in. I've been on meds for years to knock migraines back, so headaches are not uncommon, however these seem to feel like they are started from the epicenter of my head, and then generate out to the front and back.

While I can't tell what is coming, generally I can do OK to know something is on the way. Then just a process of elimination will answer the question. It rarely snows at 90 degrees, so it'll probably be rain. :D

I must fully concur with the starting post. Today is the coldest day we've had of this year. Last night when I went to bed the temp was 17. This morning at six it was only 22. At current, I think we're right at 27. Tonight should be a doozy.
