FBI Helping Police Involved in Standoff With Campground Owner Facing Drug, Weapons Charges</h3>By James Prichard Associated Press Writer
Published: Sep 3, 2001
VANDALIA, Mich. (AP) - A standoff with the owner of a campground known for its advocacy of marijuana dragged into a fourth day, with police enlisting the help of a third-party negotiator and the FBI stepping in to relieve officers.
The campground's supporters gathered near the site Sunday as police worked to end a standoff that has involved shots being fired at a news helicopter and police plane.
"The word is out about what's going on," said Shirley DeWeese, whose brother, Grover T. Crosslin, owns the southwest Michigan campground called Rainbow Farm. "If they do kill him, it's not going to be the end."
Neighbors said Crosslin 47, who faces drug and weapons charges, was burning buildings on Friday on his property, which is the target of civil forfeiture proceedings. Deputies went to the farm after hearing about the fires.
Police did not know who fired the shots that whizzed by an unmarked state police plane Saturday and struck the tail of an Indiana television station news helicopter Friday. Both landed safely.
The FBI said Sunday night that federal agents would relieve officers from the Michigan State Police and Cass County Sheriff's Office who have been at the site. Cass County Sheriff Joseph Underwood Jr. said Crosslin has made no demands.
"It is the goal of all three agencies to resolve this matter peacefully," said John Bell Jr., special agent in charge of the FBI's Detroit office.
Officers did not identify the third party assisting in the negotiations.
Sheriff's Lt. Lyndon Parrish believed Crosslin was upset over a $150,000 bond revocation hearing he skipped Friday. The hearing was set because authorities believed he was violating terms of his release on charges of felony firearm possession and drug charges.
Dori Leo, who identified herself to the South Bend Tribune as Crosslin's attorney, said her client was upset because a child he helped raise was placed in foster care following the charges.
Crosslin and five others were arrested in May after a two-year investigation into allegations of marijuana use at the campground, just before it was to host a weekend event promoting marijuana legalization.
A statement on Rainbow Farm's Web site says it "supports the medical, spiritual and responsible recreational uses of marijuana for a more sane and compassionate America."
About a mile away from the campground, about a half-dozen people displayed placards in support of Crosslin and Rainbow Farm.
"We were hoping for a peaceful resolution and they're bringing in choppers and artillery," said DeWeese.

FBI Murders Another Civilian
Second Death Caps Campground Standoff
By JAMES PRICHARD, Associated Press Writer
VANDALIA, Mich. (AP) - A campground standoff ended in its fifth day Tuesday with a
second man fatally shot by police after allegedly pointing a weapon at an officer.
Rolland Rohm, 28, was shot about 6:30 a.m., the day after his roommate was fatally shot
by an FBI agent, Cass County Sheriff Joseph Underwood Jr. said.
Rohm had been ordered several times to put his weapon down, Underwood said. He said
Rohm pointed the gun at a Michigan State Police officer and was shot.
A police bomb squad was checking the campground. "It's our understanding that the
campground has been booby-trapped," Underwood said.
Early Tuesday, Rohm had said he would surrender at 7 a.m. if his son were brought to
see him, Underwood said. The sheriff said police were in the process of granting the
request when shortly after 6 a.m., a fire was reported at the compound.
Rohm was then seen leaving the residence with a long gun and walking into the yard,
Underwood said. He said police warned Rohm to drop the weapon, but he instead pointed
it an officer.
Rohm lived at the campground, called Rainbow Farms, with Grover T. Crosslin, the
campground's owner. Crosslin, 47, was fatally shot Monday evening by an FBI agent after
pointing a rifle at the agent, Underwood said.
Crosslin had been facing felony drug and weapons charges, authorities said.
The standoff began Friday when deputies went to the farm after neighbors said Crosslin
was burning buildings on his property, which is the target of civil forfeiture proceedings.
A house and four main buildings on the campground property appeared to have been
burned since then, Underwood said.
Crosslin reportedly warned neighbors that day to leave the area because "all hell was
going to break loose."
Dori Leo, Crosslin's and Rohm's attorney, said Rohm and his 12-year-old son, who was
recently placed in foster care, had lived with Crosslin for at least five years. Leo said
Crosslin was upset because Rohm's son, who he helped raise, had been taken from the
home.
Deputies said they believe Crosslin was upset about a bond revocation hearing scheduled
for Friday. It was set because police believed he had held a festival on the campground,
in violation of the terms of his release on previous drug and weapons charges.
Crosslin had been arrested in May over allegations of marijuana use at his 34-acre
campground and charged with felony possession of a firearm, growing marijuana and
maintaining a drug house.
Authorities alleged Crosslin shot a news helicopter from WNDU-TV in nearby South Bend,
Ind., as it flew overhead Friday. Shots also were fired at an unmarked state police plane
Saturday but missed, police said. Both aircraft landed safely without injuries.
According to the Rainbow Farm's Web site, Crosslin bought the property about 15 years
ago with the idea of supporting "the medical, spiritual and responsible recreational uses
of marijuana for a more sane and compassionate America."

Some comments from those on the thread:
-----------------------------------
It won't matter to those government thieves that he clears the land, they usually just want acreage.
Once he learned they were involved he should have accumulated hazardous waste sufficient to contminate the land several tens of millions of dollars worth just in case they did this kind of stuff.
If they kill him maybe someone else will enter the land and do it for him. Doing that is lawful under both moral laws and warfare.
Old lead batteries, steeped in any chemical that will dissolve and react with the lead is a good instant land contaminant.
If you can't dissolve the lead, just bust up the plates into kibbles, and spread it far and wide. They would have do doze the acreage and haul it off to a site to be able to stop the environ crowd's yelling.
Cleaning it up would eat a bunch out of their budget. The rule is the owner of contaminated land is responsible for its cleanup.
Land contamination ought become a universal reprisal for land grabs done by flaking people. In war scorched earth is the usual result of loosing to a superior enemy. Its time we occupied citizens began to use the customary methods of warfare.
Besides in a pinch you can heat the lead with charcoal, and turn it back into lead with enough antimony or calcium in it to make nice hard bullets.
Lead is not all that bad a contaminant, but it's one they have based their environment clean up hysteria on, so their own false PR will give them fits.
Ten old car batteries give about 400 lbs of lead, which will screw up 100 acres with 4 lbs per acre. That will likely show up on their lead test kits as much more than that because it will be in concentrated spots rather than evenly distributed. They will not even realize it probably for years.
Batteries are ideal because the lead comes out of them as a grainy powder, pressed into the plates just right for spreading around. All you gotta do is get the plates out and pound them to get the fine stuff back.
Besides old batteries can LOOK like good ones that are for emergency use. Hard to prove you are storing hazardous waste.
People have got to dream up weapons that a crooked government cannot defend against. Can't out gun them till people get a lot more po'd. Then party time. Goinna rock, rock, rock, all nite.
Old electrical equipment has pcb oil in it. Very good contaminant. Not dangerous but on the very politically incorrect lists. It is different than normal electrical equipment cooling oil in that pcb won't burn if you dampen a tissue paper with it, and try to light it with a match. Other oils will. If it won't burn in that test its good stuff, for scorching the earth they steal from you.
Also old nicad batteries are pretty good. Both the nickle and the cadmium in them are on the no no list.
With a bit of thought one who fears a land theft can assemble the means to make them very sorry they took it. Many farm chemicals can pollute land grandly.
Incidentally this type of sabotage stuff is directly out of the recommendations our government made to unhappy citizens of other corrupt governments it wanted to harm.
If they screw you immorally then for the rest of your life hit them when you get a chance that won't get you caught. Its sometimes called low level active resistance, and its the only weapon many oppressed people have.
The morality of it is justified once you become convinced that the government is in outlaw status, and is violating its constitution, or is at war with its citizens.
You, as a citizen, have a duty to resist any way you can, an outlaw government which is violating the constitution.
Do notice I said duty.
A duty is something you have to do whether it's unpleasant or not. A soldier in battle has a duty to stand and deliver even if it kills him. The penalty there is firing squad if one shirks it.
Your duty to resist a corrupt and outlaw government is in the same category of importance as that soldier's duty.
Both are defending their constitution from enemies, foreign or domestic.
If you cannot prevent your land, home, property, wealth, etc from being stolen by force, then make sure the taker wishes he never took it. It's the least you can do to keep your self respect. In war you do not worry about collateral damage. If you have a hankering to do that remember your enemy never did worry about that.
Remember agent orange laced with enough dioxin to cripple the vietnamese people for generations to come?
Remember dropping A bombs on Japan after all sane authorities said it was NOT necessary for Japan was beat and would surrender just from running out of food and fuel in a short time. Contaminated that place enough to justify anything anyone does to this nation.
Remember fire bombing Dresden when international law made that a war crime?
You are dealing with a nation that has such a sorrid history that it deserves no mercy from anyone. Yes it was your nation, but it is not anymore.
Clinton GAVE it to the new world order in NYC on 6 Sept 2000. It is now a de-facto colony of that world organization. It's just being implemented gradually so as not to cause too large a fight from we the people.
No organized resistance will be raised. It is up to large numbers of individuals to resist anyway they can. If too few do they will none succeed. It is hard to cut off your hand so you cannot be forced to make war materials to kill your own people, but some have done that. The scorched earth concept is similar. You are harming yourself, but hoping it will hurt your enemy more. If it didn't hurt the enemy more, then at least you did something to teach them that stealing your nation and property is not all gravy. It has some turds in it.

The best and most hopeful thing I can think of in this situation is if the local militia and every gun-owning patriot in that locale surrounded these JBT thugs within their own ring and demanded that they "back off NOW"....then I would have hope that there is a slight chance at forestalling the inevitable slavery we are about to suffer.
I won't doubt that they will waste this guy - and soon.
Now, please re-read what Dinky said here:
The morality of it is justified once you become convinced that the government is in outlaw status, and is violating its constitution, AND is at war with its citizens.
All the alphabet soup agencies and local militarized Gestapo are at war with us, PERIOD. We see that here, we saw that Friday in Kali with Beck, we saw that with Elian Gonzalez, we saw that with Waco and Ruby Ridge. They usurp, ignore, and trounce the Constitution and our liberty. They create the "need" for their continued funding and existence to 'protect' the masses from us "Right-Wing Militants". Then they commit murder, vandalism, terrorization and absolute mayhem. They do so with impugnity.
But this is most important:
You, as a citizen, have a duty to resist any way you can, an outlaw government which is violating the constitution.
Do notice I said 'duty'.
A duty is something you have to do whether it's unpleasant or not. A soldier in battle has a duty to stand and deliver even if it kills him. The penalty there is firing squad if one shirks it.
The penalty for free citizens of this Republic from shirking their duty to resist this tyranny is the permanent loss of freedom, followed by a loss of ones life.
We will become slaves.
Your duty to resist a corrupt and outlaw government is in the same category of importance as that soldier's duty.
Both are defending their constitution from enemies, foreign or domestic.
Well, I don't consider this government an 'outlaw' government....yet - corrupt yes - but not 'outlaw'. The myriad alphabet soup agencies however - those YES, I consider to be outlaw rogue SS Stormtrooper units.
When fish used for political weapons become more important than people and their livlihoods - the enforcement arm of the Fish & Wildlife Service become SS Confiscators of private property.
Agreed however that it is our SOLEMN duty and serious charge of vigillance to maintain the freedom and liberty once bequeathed to us.
If enough Americans get off their duffs, and start resisting this incremental despotism we suffer - we can perhaps halt it.
But that means we start shooting back - not 'scorched earth' policies. This is about control, not taking land for productive use, but rather taking land to force the population into areas desired. It is about showing us who is truly in power and authority, and who truly owns everything.
Torching and running is defeatist. Make their tyranny HURT. Make their impositions costly. If it means they bring in tanks and Apache Gunships to 'quell' the push for liberty - then we will truly know where they stand - and the measure of their resolve. At that point we can then decide to cut and run - but not before the fight has even been joined.
There are at least 60 million potential snipers residing as peaceful citizens. If TPTB and the Amerikan SS piss enough of us off - the true intent and purpose of the Second Amendment can have them pissing their proverbial kilts at further atrocities such as this.
But I'm not holding my breath.
It's a mindset we Americans have - very much like that of the Jews of Nazi Europe: "What does it profit them to remove and destroy us? We are essential workers - they need us. It can't happen here".
Ask this guy, or the farmers in Klamaath Basin or the beck guy in Kali - er- nevermind - the Beck guy is dead.
Wonder who will be next.

The pattern has become clear.
Attack the margins to gain support from the middle.
That whacko renegade in California...hell, he coulda come out. He had whipped 'em in court three times, hadn't he? Too bad about that debbity though...Ole Beck musta been a helluva shot, make a bullet turn sideways behind that Red SUV and hit that ole boy smack in the head!
And the goofball, pot-smokin' weirdo(s) at the campground up in Michigan. Shoot, they's crazier than than a shi!t-house rat!
And, that guy Weaver? Hellz bellz, he lived off in the woods spoutin' some kinda KKK stuff or somethin' didn't he? And, 'sides, he cut down a gun for the feds...shorter 'n it shudda been. Naahh, it wasn't the barrel that was too short, he cut the STOCK down...but no matter.
And, those fools in Waco...man, what a buncha religious NUTS they were. And they had all them machine-guns and everything.
Too bad they killed one of their own up in Lubbock, though. Three, four hundred shots fired, and all they did wuz kill a cop.
Well, overall, it sure looks like the gubmint's winnin'. Kinda like the good ole days back in 'Nam -- work on that body count. Maybe I need to make me up some kinda scorecard to keep track.
God-fearin', middle-class, tax-payin' Amurricans nod appreciatively when they hear their gubmint had to shoot a few strays...makes it safer for all of us. Until they re-define strays.

Cuttin' through the Bull #81
Is Government Declaring War on Citizens?
Copyright © 2001 By Ray Thomas 09.04.01
I recently received an e-mail from someone who has sent me a lot of good information in the past, and one of the things he deduces from the marked increases in government atrocities against citizens is that the government has "declared war" on us. They're taking our property, filing bogus charges against people they don't like, burning our homes while claiming we're criminals, but usually without proof we are and claiming we "torched" our own property for some unknown reason (This is becoming part of their "modus operandi." They used it at Waco where they burned almost 100 people including a bunch of innocent children and they're now using it in Santa Clarita, California, where they burned one man to a crisp in his own home.). They're taking our property on spurious excuses, violating our constitutional rights with impunity, and many other things. One of the things he noted is that the simple fact is that governments derive their inherent power from restriction and control. They get that by first conditioning you to accept that restriction and control by always having a "plausible reason" for each new incursion on your rights.
The important thing here is that they don't just "all of a sudden" enforce new laws and regulations that take away large gobs of your rights all at once. They know this would cause you to "rise up in anger" and take them down. The most important thing is for you to "remain asleep" while they "nibble" at your rights, little by little, in such small bites that you don't even notice or, if you do notice, you have been conditioned not to care. We call this "incrementalism." Most of their incursions on out rights are small, and they always seem to happen to "the other guy."
No one notices except that "other guy," and by himself, he is too small to matter. They "single us out" for action against us, ignoring our constitutional rights and proceeding as if they do not exist. They rely on the fact that others have been too well conditioned by previous events to object. They've been working on us for years, teaching us that we're just "part of a large group" when it comes to conning us out of our money and property, but we are all individuals when it comes to the government just taking it.
They "single us out" and take unilateral action against us, one by one, and we don't even have to do anything they don't like in order to become a target, although that helps. Each case tends to become "an example" to others that it doesn't pay to oppose them. There are exceptions to that, as witness the shutting off of irrigation water to 1,400 farmers in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Water that the government originally used as an enticement for them to move there and begin farming years ago by promising that the water would be theirs to use "in perpetuity." That they have gone back on a "solemn promise" is nothing new to the power seekers in this, or any government. The "solemn promise" is just a tool they use to get what they want. They make it, then wait until those they made it to have forgotten it was made (through senility or death), then violate it, claiming it was never made or just ignoring claims that it was.
Here are a few of the things they're doing:
• MAKING "SOLEMN PROMISES, THEN VIOLATING THEM: This is how they overcome opposition to their plans. When Franklin Delano Roosevelt (He was the longest-serving president we ever had, remember? The one who moved this country further toward socialism than any other before him. The one who conned us into that pyramid scheme we call Social Security and literally created the welfare state, making a large segment of the population dependent on government, therefore guaranteeing their loyalty.) He was promoting Social Security as the answer to all our problems, he got a lot of stiff opposition from people who violently objected to the whole concept, but mostly to the issuance of a single, unique number for each of us and requiring us to have it.
• These people insisted that this number was a mechanism by which they could keep close track of us all if it were ever used as a "universal identifier." So what did he do? He made a "solemn promise" that this number would never be used that way. It would be used for one purpose, and one purpose only: to keep track of the money you pay into the "Social Security Trust Fund" and your "Social Security Account." They even printed, right on the Social Security card: "Not to be used for identification." Unfortunately, they didn't make that usage against the law, surprise, surprise! For a few years (about 30) they even honored this by not allowing people to use it as an identification card for anything but Social Security.
Then they began using it for tax purposes, saying that since Social Security "contributions" were collected along with your taxes, it was proper. At the same time, they started numerous databases using this number as the identifier. They also encouraged credit reporting companies and even simple private business to demand and use this number as the "file number," basing their entire file-keeping system on it. They have forced banks to collect and use that number when you open a bank account. Today, you can hardly do anything without having to fight off demands for that number. One of the common "excuses" for why you shouldn't mind is that "so many people have it, it's stupid to refuse to give it." My answer to that is that I'm going to stop it right here as far as my Social Security number is concerned. The Klamath Falls situation is just one more example of a "solemn promise" forgotten. I call this the "Thirty-Year Promise."
• WEAKENING THE CONSTITUTION: Has anybody noticed that the average liberal says that the Constitution is "outdated" and has no effect on modern-day life? That it's just an old paper written by a bunch of rich landowners designed to keep "the common people" down while retaining certain rights for themselves? They say that it is a "liquid document" that can be ignored, since it has no consequence today, and they ignore it with impunity, since they own the courts. Studies have shown that in the last 40 years there have been more liberal judges appointed than conservatives, guaranteeing them control. "Judicial activism," where the judge rules, not by the law or the Constitution, has become a major problem for which there is no remedy under today's laws.
• WEAKENING THE LANGUAGE: There is no law if the very words used to make the law are subject to "definition." Rush Limbaugh is fond of saying "words mean things," and he's right. But they attempt to use "subjective logic" to make sure that words mean what they want them to mean. Under subjective logic, "there are no absolutes." That means that words can be made to mean whatever you want them to mean and those "enforcing" the law can "define" that law to suit themselves. They use "political correctness" to allow themselves to define the very words we use in debate. This is slowly destroying our language.
• ATTACKING THE FAMILY: They must condition our children to accept collectivism if they are to be able to advance their plans in the future. Collectivism is the philosophy of choice for those who want power over the rest of us. It conditions us to accept the idea that the government, not the individual, is the "seat of power," in opposition to what the Constitution says. They must be able to do this without the opposition they have encountered from parents. So to destroy the family and the rights of parents, they created the fiction that child abuse was "rampant in the land," and that we must take extraordinary measures" to combat it (the old Hegelian Principle: Create a problem, publicize it, then offer a "solution" which advances your goals). They made laws that basically take away the constitutional rights of parents and strip from them the right to object when their children are stolen and sold. When they're worried about that, they can't object to the conditioning that's going on in the schools.
• ATTACKING THE CHURCH: They've attacked the church by using one of the Founders' most cherished concepts, the "separation of church and state." They claim it is part of the Constitution, but it is not. They've used it to make prayer in school or in any public place a crime. They're slowly destroying religion as a concept by limiting the places in which it can be practiced -- in the name of keeping state and religion separate. The Constitution prohibits the government from "making any law regarding religion or the practice thereof." But they use the "separation" concept therein promulgated as "permission" to make laws regarding religion and the practice thereof." They've tried to make sure that no church person ever advances a political opinion (unless they're black or liberal, of course) or they face the possibility of losing their tax exempt status or becoming subject to a tax audit and confiscation of their property.
• ATTACKING THE MILITARY: The military is dealt with in one of several ways: first, reduce their funding, which has been effectively accomplished, mostly by the Clinton administration lately. Then they attempt to discredit them by painting them as "hawks" whose only reason for being is to "go to war," and who are useless in peacetime. They ignore that the biggest reason it is "peacetime" is because the military is there. They attempt to weaken the moral fiber of the military by forcing upon it the requirement to accept gays and women into their general ranks. They're doing a good job of that.
• DISARMING THE POPULACE: If you want to control the population of a given country, you can't have them armed. You must use any excuse to disarm them, and that's what they're doing, day by day, in small ways. They have gotten a big boost lately by the little spate of school shootings they've "spotlighted" in the news, from Columbine on. They're painting a picture of "school violence gone mad," while ignoring the fact that mass school shootings are only a "once-in-a-while thing," usually always done by people no gun law would stop anyway. They "spotlight" every instance of gun violence and take every opportunity to vilify guns, not gun users, while playing down the millions of instances where honest people use licensed guns to defend themselves. They're scared to death of the fact that so many states have passed "must issue" concealed carry laws and have become determined to stop that trend. Like most criminals, they want to be pretty sure that the honest, law-abiding person they come to rape will not meet them with a gun. Of course if they do, they just kill them and "whitewash" the murderer as they did with Ismael Mena in Denver.
• SINGLING YOU OUT: They "single you out" and isolate you from the community before attacking you if you are "targeted" for destruction. In the Klamath Falls water situation, they've just singled out Barbara Martin, an outspoken activist there, by putting a restraining order prohibiting entering the headwaters area against her, something she hasn't even offered to do. This is the "opening gun" in efforts to discredit her. They'll use this restraining order later as "evidence" that she's a "violent person" and needs to be restrained. This is what they did with James Allen Beck in Santa Clarita, California, where they attacked his home on their usual minor charges, in retaliation for his suit against them for harassment after they tried for the third time to prosecute him on the same charges and failed. They came with many men and lots of guns, and when the man responded with gunfire, set his house on fire with tear gas canisters (as they did at Waco), allowed the fire department to pour water on the houses next door, letting his house burn down while they kept him from exiting so he burned to death. Burning him so badly they had a problem finding and identifying a body. His own neighbors gave interviews to the press (after the fact, of course,) saying that they "thought" there was something wrong with him after being conditioned by federal agents on the scene. Others have been similarly singled out, some to be killed, others to be prosecuted on spurious charges with the judge keeping them from being able to present evidence vital to their defense. That's what happened in the Peter McWilliams case, discussed elsewhere.
• THEY JUST KILL YOU: When all else fails, they just kill you. Randy Weaver found that out at Ruby Ridge, Idaho when they came in to arrest him on a small, trumped-up charge of not having a license to alter a shotgun (who a federal snitch hired him to alter) and they killed his wife through a door while she was holding his infant child in her arms. Lon Horiuchi, the criminal with a badge that murdered her, was recently absolved of responsibility for that murder by the 9th Circuit Court, which ruled that he was able to execute her legally because he was "following orders" from higher authority and he was a "law officer." A best-selling author of books about the legalization of marijuana for medical purposes, Peter McWilliams was effectively murdered by the feds, who knew he needed marijuana to be able to keep down the medicine that kept him alive, arrested him illegally and denied him the use of it as a condition of his parole. He was soon found dead, drowned in his own vomit. No charges were ever filed against the perpetrators in his murder. There are many other such stories, but these will suffice as examples.
How are they able to do this? We allow it.
We allow it because we are conditioned to accept it. They've taught us that, as individuals, we have no power to resist. They have unlimited resources (our money) to use in fighting any effort we make to stop their excesses while we have little. Even if an individual has resources, they use the RICO Laws to confiscate them, leaving us defenseless before their unlimited resources. Since they don't have to have anything but a suspicion of wrongdoing to do that, it is very effective in disarming us in court. They've conditioned us not to resist over the years by teaching us that "one person" has no power to resist, and by doing everything they can to keep us from coming together as a "gathering of individuals" to oppose them. They make it very expensive to do so.
Consequently, we just try to ignore their criminal operations because they've taught us well. We think we can't do anything about them because they have all our tax money to use to oppose us, they can take our possessions by just saying we're engaged in illegal activity so we have nothing left to finance opposition, and even our neighbors can easily be turned against us, themselves being subtly conditioned by being given false information. So the largest percentage of the populace tries valiantly to ignore what they do, leaving them to their criminal operations without a lot of opposition, fearing that they will become the target of the government.
This is the way totalitarian governments (or would-be totalitarian governments) work. They single us out and bring the massed might of our own tax money to bear on us. People then try to ignore what they're doing, hoping they'll rape them last or that they can live out their lives before their government notices them. People who are opposing the government power seekers (not the government itself) call these people "apathetic." But it's not apathy. It's "protective stupidity."
In his classic book, "1984," George Orwell described what the "Thought Police" called "Crimestop." "Crimestop means the faculty of stopping short, as though by instinct, at the threshold of any dangerous thought. It includes the power of not grasping analogies, of failing to perceive logical errors, of misunderstanding the simplest arguments if they are inimical to Ingsoc, (English Socialism, or in our case, simple socialism) and of being bored or repelled by any train of thought which is capable of leading in a heretical direction. Crimestop, in short, means protective stupidity." It strikes me that today's liberal dupes are practicing Crimestop.
They subconsciously hope this will keep them safe, but it won't. The only safety lies in numbers. They must "come together" with other individuals and oppose the power seekers legally with large numbers of individuals who no longer buy their bullpuckey. The power seekers criticize people like me who profess to be "individualists" by asking how "individuals" can "come together" without becoming a "group." My answer is simple: there's nothing wrong with individuals becoming a group, so long as they are so by their own decision, not the decision of a government "agent."
We have to stop "knuckling under" to these people. We need to spend time learning all we can about their scams, schemes, and hustles until we no longer "buy" their stories and stop allowing them to rape us with impunity, slowly drawing the "noose" tighter, little by little, in small doses so we don't notice. We need to stop giving them permission to enslave us by opposing them at every turn, before each scheme gets strong enough that we can no longer oppose it. The American public is a "sleeping giant" who could slap them aside if we would just wake up and do it. Wake up, people!

One more response:
I think with each atrocity the rhetoric gets more serious, and things are getting to a boiling point.
I think its waiting for a push. a depression, external war, whatever, too many people are too mad now for serious consequences not to occur once order deteriorates a little bit.
As for this government not being outlaw yet,
consider these facts.
In 1913 it turned over our economy and banking and monetary system to a gang of theives from Europe, in direct violation of the constitution command that US money shall forever consist of silver and gold.
In 1913 it installed an income tax that directly violated the constituton command that the federal government could apply NO taxes directly upon citizens of the states.
In 1917 it passed a law forcing all trapped enemy citizens (germans) inside the usa to register, put ID tags on their cars, get a license to operate cars, and not trade with certain people, under pain of prison and fines. To get such a draconian law passed in a nation where the supreme court said its constitution protected all persons present inside its borders, the law had a clause that said it did not apply to any citizens of this nation or the states. That caused citizens not to protest that anarchy.
In 1933, communist sympathizer Roosevelt packed this nations high offices with card carrying communists, and had the congress to update that 1917 law to remove the part that said it did not apply to citizens of this nation or the states. It also gave the president dictatorial powers in state of emergency. It gave the president power to declare such emergency. That law declared that all citizens were enemies of the US government and under restrictions of occupation.
At that time the government became an outlaw regieme, because it was at that time operating outside the constitution, and had de-facto overthrown the constitution. It has remained that way since then. It then, in 1939, destroyed the right to bear arms, in the federal bill of rights. That began its removing our power to be independent and free individuals.
In the intervening 60 years it has become an occupation government operating under military law, with pretense that it is a constitutional government. The pretense fools only fools.
The present national government and those of many states are at this time outlaw governments.
No citizen has any duty to support, aid, serve, or respect outlaw governments.
Every citizen has a duty to overthrow them in any way he can manage to do that. Even the most timid can do small things.
An outlaw government is in the same status as a criminal that has invaded and taken over your home. You get him out anyway you can. Small pieces are good. Causing him to leave at mach 2 is better.
If nothing else works leaving a crater where the home used to stand is also good. If you have to lead the criminal by the hand through the front gates of hell then do what you have to do.
It is better to go with him into oblivion than to live under his power.
There is such a thing as personal honor, integrity, and refusal to submit to slavery.
It is honorable to refuse to submit. It is more honorable to leave a large gap in the enemy lines when you make your move.
Do not try to spit in the elephant's eye. lead it into a trap, poison it, deceive it, harass it, worry it into sickness, and never stop until it is dead. Even if you have to join forces with the hated lion, and more hated snakes, to get rid of the elephant do that for it has become at that time a matter of honor. The statement being made is, "do not tread on me for I will never allow you to see peace again".
Choose your resistance so it will last. A flash in the pan like the fellow mentioned above is a waste. Retreat is honorable if the purpose is to resist later. Remember once they drive you from your fixed address they have a hell of a time knowing where you are an what you are up to.
A simple thing like treking through the mountains, (as some appear to now be doing), and lighting fires as you go, can have a very expensive effect on an occupation government.
Go till you get caught, then when caught with no chance of escape, die killing enemies. That takes you out of the fray.
Then, regardless what your misunderstood religion was, you will discover that you not only reincarnate but you cannot die. You have to reincarnate again and again and pass all the grades of earth before you get to go to another plane.
As for certain religions that preach that evil begets death, why then does the hated and most evil character in those religions, satan et al, said to have been kicked out of heaven, continue to flourish, and does not die? He demonstrates himself as imortal as any God.
Then there is the major problem with religions that claim a good creator who looks after things. Where is he? Such a good person could not allow such evil as flourishes on earth to exist. It would trouble him without end until he did something. Yes I know it is PC to attribute all good luck to his doing, and all bad luck to your own foolishness.
But if I do that I can make a god of any stone, as many humans have done before.
There was apparently a creator, but he apparently made a horde of independent entities and turned them loose to do as they will. They congregrate here and there in the universe, if not everwhere. Earth has its type which prey upon each other.
The only thing that discourages a predator is knowledge that it is fair game also to the one it preys upon. That must be demonstrated. No preaching about it works.
Unless you are willing to destroy yourself and your enemy it will not have the respect for you that keeps it at bay. You have to condition your thinking for such an attitude.
AND if there was to be nothing after this life, then consider that it matters not one whit what you did or what you accomplished or what you learned while alive for like a computer with the plug pulled and main board kibbled, what it once remembered and could do has returned to chaos. It matters not to endless time whether that happens now or later. Such an entity suffers existence for a brief time to no purpose.
It amounts to little more than being able to fly for the brief time between being kicked off the airplane till you hit the ground.
What did you accomplish by your flight? What did you accomplish by your brief existence. What did gengis kahn, napoleon, hitler, stalin, etc accomplish that benefited them if there was nothing but that brief existence?
It is the mixed up ones who cannot make up their minds about what life is all about who will submit to attrocities without end in the absurd notion that doing that will earn them respect somewhere in the universe.
Not unless there is a fools paradise in some corner of the universe too dispicable for anyone else to want to possess it, where such notions are given respect, by accumulated confused souls.
Elsewhere respect will have to be earned by being willing to destroy those who do not give it.
Respect requires power to sustain it. A powerless entity has respect from no others. Remember that, when asked to make yourself defenseless, and powerless.
A major power and weapon that cannot be removed from an individual is knowledge. Learn how to really screw up the works around you. Let it become known by occasional examples of those picked on, that screwed up areas are no gain, and a big loss. Even fools do not conspire to acquire losses. Make sure you can become the mother of all losses, if need be.
Learn about how to do that. Its on the net. Spend some time acquiring knowledge that will make you extremly dangerous to screw with. You don't have to stash anything. Just quietly learn where it is in your area, and you can go to it when the time comes. Then when you see that you are screwed, and cannot defend yourself, go do your thing. The message will be noticed.
Does anyone believe the forest fires are lightning caused? That west Nile virus came here after trying itself for 5000 years without success. That our economy was wrecked by our own doing? That F&M came to England from that Eurasian native site of that strain without help?
I don't. I think some folks are doing exactly what I mention above. Is it having an effect? Seems so. Is what I mention original or new?
Not by a long shot. Its been done the world over time and again. The ones with guts to do it are diminishing as certain attitudes are instilled which cause each generation to bear the yoke with less resistance.
There are always a few horses in the roundup though who do not flee in terror, but turn and kill their pursuers. Rare, but wise ones know to watch for them. Same in all species.
In wild boar hogs, wolverines, honey badgers, some cats, some dogs, some horses, some snakes, and many insects though, there is respect all out of porportion to their size, or value. All creatures, large and small, instinctively, or otherwise, know fooling with them is a serious loss situation.
so Go...
Become a potential serious loss situation.
And peace will probably stay with you, or at least trouble will only reach you after all lesser foes have been done in.
The choir will now sing the requiem,
a theme song for serious loss entities.
