My employer got some pay problems fixed and I had a little extra money this month. I wanted to make a purchase July 9th but didn't htink I'de have the money.

Any way I caled a local gun shop and found he could have a NAA mini revolver in 22 mag with Lr cylinder 1 1/8" bbl in by the 6th for $215, I ordered it and told them I'd be in fo rit on the 9th. :D

I went to the NAA web site a little while ago and found they now make the holster grip fo rhte magnum frame and ordered one. Now I jsut wait for the 9th to go play. :)

Now I just hope the NICS computer doesn't crash or blow up or somthing or I'll be PO'ed

That would be a convienent day for it to go down. I remember one weekend after Clinton had pulled one of his tricks NICS was down and no one could make any purchases. The White House announced the next week that Clinton had made such an impact that no sales were made that weekend.
Congrats on the mini and on getting it on the 9th. I've got one of the mini's with dual cylinders and love the little thing. I even dropped an Email to NAA's and told them it was referring to putchase a product in this day and age and feel like I got more than my monies worth.
I'm putting mine on my pocket watch to use as a watch fob with my cowboy set.

I guess I jumped the gun some. Maybe I'll take delivery on the 9th. But here's what I did.

On July 4th I bought a Colt New Service revolver, with the July 4, 1905 patent and a 5 digit serial number and in 45acp. I found it on one of the auctions and was able to get it for $333.00. What could be more appropriate for the 4th than that?

I need to go look Monday. The dealer had a couple of the minis but I fired a couple last month & couldn`t hit spit with em. I am looking for a used 22/32 *&* and he had one. A 6" though and I want a 4". Sentimental value as I used to carry one pre PD.

Well I went and picked up my NAA Mini today! I't seems even smaller than I thought but, that's a good thang, I can't imagine ever not having it if needed it's just extremely convienient in size. I haven't gotten out to shoot it yet though were waiting for my brother to call he's out of hte Marines and getting ready to start colledge this fall he's supposed to fly in today but, hasn't called to say when yet so since dad is working I'm waiting for the word to go pick him up. I can't wait he's been off in Japan for two years it'll be good to have him back on this side of hte Big Pond.

I asked the dealer when I picked up my Mini if he was expecting many other guns to be picked up today, he said no apparently and un-fortunately the word wasn't spread very well. Hopefully other areas were better. I thought I was going to be screwed when he first called they denied permission for me to make the purchase I figured the computer must be down, but, they called back in about 3 minutes with permission, I hadn't even finished choosing a selection of ammo to try.

My Holster grip arrived in the mail today also and ive instaled them I think I'm going to like it I't gives a much better grip on the little gun. Checking it out when I got home even with the little grips the action was surprisingly easy to manipulate I don't see speed of operation to be a likely problem. Oh well more when I've been to the range.
