If Anyone's Shooting Today, Will You Try This Target For Me? |

Hello,
I drew up a target similar to one that I may or may not have seen on the web. Maybe I dreamed it as I can't find it period.
Whichever, I have the target posted in a thread down lower, but since it's buried in the thread, most people who may be interested probably haven't seen it.
This is supposed to be used at 50 yards with open sights on a rifle, but I suppose it could be used at 100 as well if you have good eyesight or a 'scope.
I think it's ugly as sin, but once printed out it seems to draw one's eyes toward the center - at least it does for me.
I used to like designing targets on Autocad, and now that I no longer have that program, I had to resort to Photoshop.
If I can get out today myself I will, but my range out back is due to be dug up the rest of the way to replace the septic system's "fingers."
Thanks,
Josh <><

Hi Ron,
Was gonna do something like that, but the one way angle drives me nutz too - and because it drives me nutz, I can't stop looking at it! LOL
Is that one you made or modified, or did you find it on the web somplace? If it was the latter, maybe I wasn't dreaming...
Thanks,
Josh <><

I think it would be great for centering a scope...

I think yours would. Mine was made for open sights only - that's why it has the large, unbroken red and black.
Maybe we can start an "ultimate target" project here? That'd be kinda' cool I think.

Can't get it to print full size.

Del,
Did you click the thing, then make sure it was fullsize in the window it opened in?
Here's the link to the fullsize on stored on Photobucket. Most times though the newer browsers, both Firefox and Internet Explorer, open a picture only as large as the screen can handle it. You then have to use the magnifying glass (FireFox) or the lil' button on the lower right hand corner of the screen (Internet Explorer) to enlarge it to its full size.

If that still doesn't do it, PM me with an email (had yours once and then lost it) and I'll send it to you.
Thanks!

This is a three shot group, fired near dusk on an overcast evening.
