Not a vintage rifle, rather a vintage scope...

Ok, I have a Weaver K V scope with post reticle...... 2 3/4x - 5x Made in El Paso..... However, the front lens appears to have strange "bubbles" in it, or in the coating (if it has one) The above is all the info on the scope. I'd dearly love to find someone/place that can either repair or replace that lens, because it's likely as close to a period scope for my 03-A3 I'll find in my budget at the time being!

Sincerely,
Ken

Mr Parsons will fix you up. He's not overnight, but he's good. He's worked on a couple for me.

Thanks Jay :) I sent the guy an email, hopefully he'll be able to help out in spite of the fact his site says he doesn't work on Weaver stuff :-/

Well, Parsons got back to me as well, and per his site, won't work on Weaver scopes.......... "sigh" all it REALLY needs is the front lens! I think I can manage the rest by myself if I get really determined.
