Where did you stay? Kickstand Lodge (http://www.kickstandlodge.com/)
How was the place you stayed at? it is a campground geared to motorcyclists. Don't bring what you can't carry, they aren't fancy, but they have it all.
Approx. price of lodging: $37.00 for small cabin, $15 for tent.
How did you get there? 1999 Valkyrie Interstate
Approx. cost to get there: 7 gallons
Places of interest: Cherahola Skyway,Deals Gap,Maggie Valley,Cherokee
Places to eat and approx. cost: normal places around, normal prices, dinner and breakfast at campground, always good food!
Any areas to avoid? Deals Gap if ALL your stuff isn't in order including safety rated eyewear.
Pro's of this vacation: Gorgeous scenery, great people, great roads to ride.
Con's of this vacation: to short! ;)
Additional comments: If you have never been to Western North Carolina, it is amazing. If you have been, go again, it's worth the trip, you know it is!
