Very good. If one is good, it follows that two are better.

Twins are always sexy. I am sure you will enjoy it.
Good on you! I have 3 XDs, one is a 45 service like yours. It is my new favorite 45 to shoot. I plan on getting a 45 Tactical as soon as the right deal presents itself. An EFK extended thread barrel is also in the works.

If you get a barrel from EFK and you reload be aware that the EFK barrels have very tight tolerances. I reload and I have to be very precise with sizing. I had problems with seating on the EFK 9MM barrel. All factory ammo would seat but a very few of my reloads would not seat properly. They were .001 - .002 wider than factory specs. The same cartridges would seat in the factory barrel without a problem. Because of the way the XD action locks into place it can jam the gun pretty good.

I used to be able to leave a bunch within reach. A shotgun next to the bed was comforting too. Then came the kids. Now I have to pick one to stick in a locking box by the bed. It's ok thought they are worth it. So is their mama. :)
