Where is the best place to get threaded barrels for a 10/22?

First, you must thread the receiver. Since Ruger does not thread the receiver, thread pitches may vary.

Sorry I didn't make my question clear, I want it threaded at the crown end so I can add a suppressor.

Any competent machinist can do that. Times are hard and jobs are scarce.

Get ya a Green Mountain barrel and pay somebody to thread it, thats your best bet and like Popeye said any good machinist can handle it.

I make a bridge for the 1022 that screws into the top of the action and barrel, that acts as a scope mount. Threading the 1022 is not a really good idea, the receiver is an aluminum alloy and the barrels are steel, you will fight dissimilar metals corrosion and the crack of the 22 ammo will strip the threads. The T-bridge is a much better idea. I have chased that rabbit.

If I was supressing a 10/22 I would go with a integraly supressed barrel. Works with a wider varity of ammo and no can to shoot lose. But they do requre a enlargement of the existing stock or a new stock with larger barrel channel.

It also requires another $200 tax stamp and a 3-5 month wait. I already have cans for a 22. I know Brownells sells threaded barrels, I was just checking to see if anyone had any other good sources.
