Hello everyone. Can somebody tell me if Marlin makes a .22mag in a lever action rifle? Has there been any talk about making one? Why doesn't Marlin make a .22 mag in a Lever Action? Thanks-Tim tgs989:D

Quite a while back Marlin made a Model 57M Levermatic chambered in .22 WMR. They do not currently offer a lever action rifle chambered in .22WMR.

The only reason I can think of as why Marlin don't make a crank action 22 mag is the don't have a sutible platform out side of the 57M that Popeye mentioned. Thier model 39 is too small for the 22 mag and would take a major redeisgn to make it suitable. If you realy need a crank 22 mag try looking into a Browning or Winchester.

Marlin mfg'd the 1894M, 22WMR from 1986 thru 1988, discontinued 1989. As Popeye noted, they also mfg'd the Model 57M Levermatic from about 1959-65. No other Marlin lever actions in 22WMR.

Probably the only currently mfg'd, readily available lever action 22WMR is the Henry. They're pretty nice little rifles (my grandson-in-law has one) & a good value for the money but, they're not the equivalent of a Marlin or Winchester. My opinion only ;)
