As I mentioned, i will be getting my new Taurus .38 snubbie this Friday, and now I need to know what to feed it. I would like to shoot jacketed rounds, because that's all I have experience with. I am also worried about leading in the barrel I guess. Are Nyclads a good choice?

I recommend HydraShoks for CCW. I used to carry these in my .38 & also in my .357. Now, I use HydraShoks in my .45.

Any of the Nyclad rounds would also be a good choice. With the gun's fixed sights, make sure you go with the load that impacts closest to your point of aim. I use 25yds., but 15yds. would be fine for most situations.

NyClads or Hydro-Shoks either one are a good choose for carry. As Victor said, you may have to experiment with a few different loads before you find something the gun likes and hits point of aim.
But do not be afraid to use lead (cast) bullets for practice. If you find a local reloader or gun shop that sells reloads they are soooo much cheaper to practice with. A brass brush with some Hoppes on it or Sweetshooter will clean it up after a session and it will not be the worse for wear. You will need to learn the load that the gun likes and is accurate with for carry and practice enough with it that the recoil is not "surprising" when you have to use it. But you will find yourself shooting a lot more and becoming more familiar with the gun if you use the cheap stuff (cast reloads) for informal sessions. Or at least that is the way it works for me on my budget.
