OK....so I'm Browsing through the Fall Cabella's Master Bible...trying hard not to drool on all the pages when.....

Millenium SAA revolver... 45LC .... $199 !!!!!

Ok,,,I read that wrong..... No... $199.

So what is the catch.... No blued finish... Looks like a sprayed on Teflon or other paint type finish... OK for a shooter... no problems.

But for the Gun action....is it any good?

Any other recommendataions on that one out there?

Kuch

Ken

I've been thinking about ordering one myself. Let's compare note if you get yours.

I might be wrong but IIRC Gun Test Magazine gave it a positive review. I'll see if I can find the issue.

They claim that the internals and actions are just as good as their fully finished guns. The low cost is supposedly simply because of the labor saved on finishing the guns. I've looked at a couple of them in the "flash" and the finish is bad. There are some serious tool marks that are visible under the "blue" job.
Finish on guns mean very little to me. I actually find stripping and polishing a gun to prep it for finishing enjoyable and was thinking about one of these myself. But then I looked at some of the KBI Liberties and thought better of the Millenium. The Liberty is only 23 bucks more, has a steel back strap and trigger guard, comes with a beautiful finish and grips and is developing a reputation for having a good action and internals. I mean I like prepping a gun....but I don't want to work on something for shucks and grins when I can get a better product for only 23 dollars more.
