Early Elvis was some of the greatest music. I was not a big fan of his music in his later years but his early stuff was great. The following song many will not know but is an example of the kind of music I am talking about. The kind of music one could hear before it all turned to ****. Just beautiful. It is called It's a Sin. Take a listen.

All I hear in my head is the whistling wind. Or is that my tinnitus?
I hear the same thing only not in stereo. My left ear is really bad. While at the range many years ago I had a friend of mine come up next to me and not notice that I had my ear plugs out. He drew his Colt Python .357 and got off 3 shots before I put my rifle butt in his ribs. I guess if the test tone even stopped it would signal the end for me...
