My BBQ Bowie!

I've posted this Bad Boy's pic before = a 12" Hunting Trousse from Musieum Replicas - a Middle Ages Hunter's sidearm & picnic set for finishing off your game (if it didn't get you first) Buffalohorn handles & shaving sharp.
Reason for the repost is it did a job cutting up a Fathersday ham & serving it up off the grill
First time I'd been able to use the big blade as it was intended to be used
Did real well

StrawHat is just really nice StrawHat is just really nice
Nice looking set! I am working on a similar set but the main piece is an interpretation of the Scottish Dirk with a knife and fork set added. I have been fiddling with the main blade for a couple of years as I never get enough time to get it shaped to my liking at one setting or else I make changes to the design. I like the elegant simplicity of the grips and mountings on your set.

I've looked at photo's of their "Soldier's Knife" and think thats one of the cleanest looking blades ever. In a short sword I was impressed with the looks of the Hoplite sword,

Very nice looking set. Even nicer since you got to put it to use.
