Icon4 "THE" rules! Everyone MUST read 3/27/07

These are the rules for the joke room, if you don't read it and something happens, it's not our fault. Hopefully this should be a little better for everyone, including our staff who works very hard to keep this room family orientated.

1. All hard "R" jokes MUST go in the basement. If you aren't sure if it is a hard R joke, please send the joke to someone on staff so we can give you an appropriate answer.

2. You MUST rate ALL of your jokes and images/pictures in this forum. Even if you put up a "G" picture, it must be rated "G" "PG" or "R"! Smiley icons are NOT accepted. Should you make the post and see you forgot to rate it, please contact a mod. You may be able to edit it, but if not, just contact someone on staff via PM.

From now on, if you have posted a "G" rated image or joke, and completely forgot to rate it and/or contact a mod, we're just going to change it for you without a warning. However, it can't become a habit. If it does, then the warnings start.

3. The first time you forget to rate a PG or R joke you will get the following message in your post (your post will not be locked or deleted):

The second time it happens, you will see this image in your post (your post will not be locked or deleted):

The third and last warning you get this message:

AND, the post will be LOCKED, and the three warnings will be referred to admin. If we find that you are in clear violation , permission to this forum will be denied for 30 days.

If you get back in the forum in 30 days, and get another three warnings, you're out of the forum for good.

I don't foresee anyone making it to the denial phase but we must have in this in place for anyone that is just too lazy to follow simple rules. Everyone will get more than a fair warning. We all forget at times, it's not a big deal if it happens on occasion. We just want to make sure everyone rates the jokes and that our moderators don't have to constantly babysit.

HOPEFULLY this will please everyone.

This is a great forum for everyone and I hope it stays around until the demise of FFF. If we all work together, it shouldn't be a problem. Please be considerate of our mods, they are only doing their job.

Should you forget to rate a PG or R joke, and you contact someone on staff within 12 hours, you will NOT get a warning. If the joke isn't rated and no one on staff got a message, then the warnings shall begin.

Thanks to everyone for their cooperation.

It seems like that should work.

Thanks Sleepy.

Sounds much better, and we won't be losing perfectly good jokes.

It isn't what you know, but a matter of who you know, and their position on the totem pole.

Sounds fair. The getting bonked worked pretty well, the instant lock and delete was just a tad rough in my opinion. But it's just an opinion.

I think the rules were a bit sketchy, and that's my fault. I'm hoping now everything is perfectly clear for everyone. I don't want anyone from our staff stressing out and I also don't want the joke room to become a scary place to go. So let's please put anything in the past behind us, and start a new leaf. This should work out much better.
